SLJ W2 D2 A3 Strange Plants

Strange Plants

My two strange plants are the Venus Flytrap and Mimosa Pudica

Similarities -  They are both sensitive because they know when they are touch straight away.
                   - They are both plants
                   - They both flower

Differences - Mimosa Pudica Seems scared and Venus Flytrap does not.
                   - The Venus Flytrap is carnivorous and Mimosa Pudica is not
                   -  They come from different places, Venus Fly trap from Eastern Carolina and Mimosa                               Pudica is from South America.

  1. Hello again,

Wow, great choice of plants Caleb! The picture of the Venus flytrap with the fly on it makes it look super deadly! Have you seen one before? When I was younger, we had one at our house. I don't remember it ever actually eating any flies though - it always moved too slowly to catch them. The Mimosa Pudica looks quite pretty. It's flowers remind me of those little pompoms you can get at craft stores.

Well done on completing another activity Caleb, and for correctly attributing your images again. Keep up the great blogging!

    Mā te wā,

    Mikey :)
